Urgently looking to recruit a Groundworks Site Supervisor for a permanent role in the Northwest / Yorkshire region, for a renowned main contractor. Here’s a summary of the key points:

Position Overview:

• Job Title: Groundworks Site Supervisor
• Location: Northwest / Yorkshire
• Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 per annum (£24 per hour PAYE)
• Company: Main contractor with a 30-year trading history, specialising in new build care homes with a turnover exceeding £100 million.

Benefits:

• Bonus: Company bonus paid 6 monthly (June and December) usually a few grand
• Earnings: Opportunity to increase earnings working over 40 hours
• Annual Leave: 22 days plus bank holidays
• Salary Review: Yearly salary review

• Work Hours: Early finish on Fridays

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing groundworks gangs working on new build care homes.
• Work includes car parks, kerbing, drainage, flagging, utilities etc
• Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Collaborating with the Site Manager and attending management meetings.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed and lead by example
• Ensure quality is to the right standard and mentor the team
• This is a working managers role with a rough split of 70% leading the team and 30% management

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a groundworker managing a team.
• Education: CSCS skilled card, SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
• Skills: Proficient with all aspects of groundworks including setting out and working to line and level
• License: Full UK driving license.
