TS Recruitment are actively working with a Main Contractor who are looking to add an additional Quantity Surveyor to their team to work on high end housing and apartment conversions.

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor:

Key Responsibilities

• Commercially manage 2-3 projects simultaneously
• Conduct site visits for cost management, including site measures, variations, and meetings
• Manage subcontractor and supplier approvals and procurement processes
• Prepare and issue contracts
• Produce Cost Value Reports (CVRs)
• Reconcile invoices and approve payments
• Prepare and submit final accounts

• Involvement in new build and refurbishment projects, focusing on commercial luxury accommodation

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Sector: Construction main contractor or fit out experience
• Education: Degree-level qualification is advantageous
• Skills: Strong IT and numerical proficiency
• License: Valid UK driving license
