TS Recruitment are actively working with a specialist drylining contractor who are looking to recruit a Buyer to join the business.

Benefits

• £30-35k per annum
• 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
• Pension up to 3% employer contribution
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide prices for all materials on site
• Identify suppliers and new products
• Manage and agree lead times
• Develop relationships with suppliers and agree discounts / rebates
• Monitor service levels of suppliers
• Manage company vehicles including MOTs service and new lease agreement
• Order plant and machines for site maximising use with limited downtime
• Liaise with accounts regarding invoicing and deliveries

Knowledge/Experience:

• A sound knowledge of construction materials
• Good communication skills at all levels
• Good negotiation skills
• Strong IT and numerical skills
• The ability to research products and network
